Join us on Friday, 14th July 2023, <\/strong>for an entomological excursion at the foot of Chojnik Mountain, where entomologist Leszek Ko\u015bny will introduce participants to the diverse and fascinating world of insects. These tiny creatures never fail to surprise with their unusual colours, shapes, and intriguing lifestyles. Every blade of grass, tree leaf or slipped stone can hide an insect habitat. The adventure with insects will be enriched by a presentation from a team of entomologists who specialise in this captivating animal group.

We will kick off the excursion at 9:00 AM near the building of the former KPN management in Jelenia Gora-Sobiesz\u00f3w,<\/strong>ul. Cha\u0142ubi\u0144skiego 23. From there, we will explore the surrounding meadows in search of insects and then proceed to the workshop room at the KPN Nature and Education Center. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe insect specimens through binoculars. As we will be walking through the meadows, we recommend wearing appropriate clothing and ensuring you have protection against insect bites. The tour is entirely free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
