The representatives of the Town of Jelenia Gora attended a bilateral conference in Warsaw organised by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. Nearly 200 participants attended the event, representing Polish local governments participating in the Local Development Program and their partners from Norway and Iceland. The representatives of Jelenia Gora, together with representatives of the city of Akureyri (Iceland), gave a presentation on the cooperation of our cities in the implementation of the project "Live, reside, work in Jelenia Gora!". A meeting of the Team for preparing the Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the Jelenia Góra Agglomeration was held in Jelenia Góra. The meeting was attended by coordinators from communes and poviats involved in the development of the Plan, representatives of poviat crisis management centres, the Poviat Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, and the State Water Management Company WodyPolskie, the Karkonosze National Park and the company Ekovert, which is developing the Plan. During the meeting, team members adopted the work schedule and reviewed the main methodological guidelines for developing the Plan. In the workshop part of the meeting, a map of the location of threats and their consequences for the area of the Jelenia Góra Agglomeration was preliminarily developed. Subsequent meetings of the Team will be held as the work progresses.

The first meeting of the Mayor of the City Mr Jerzy Łużniak, with the inhabitants of Jelenia Góra, as part of a series of quarterly meetings of the President of Jelenia Góra with residents and non-governmental organisations. The meeting was held remotely, with the recording available on the Mayor's profile and the City of Jelenia Gora's Facebook fan page. The mayor answered questions asked by residents in the chat.

The second meeting of the Mayor of the City with local entrepreneurs – the members of the Jelenia Góra Business Club. The meeting was attended by more than 20 members of the club. Participants were given a presentation on the project and information on the tasks carried out. The presentation was followed by a discussion on current issues concerning the functioning and operation of businesses in Jelenia Góra.

The first meeting (online) of representatives of the City of Jelenia Góra with representatives of the City of Akureyri from Iceland. The meeting was attended by Mr Jerzy Łuzniak, Mayor of Jelenia Gora, Mrs ÁsthildurSturludóttir, Mayor of Akureyri, directors and heads of organisational structures of offices of both communes, representatives of the Association of Polish Cities, the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities and the Icelandic Union. The meeting focused on the possibility of establishing cooperation within the framework of the project, concerning the exchange of knowledge and experience of both communes in areas related to geothermal energy, active tourism and healthy lifestyles, or the development of civil society and the inclusion of residents, including young people, in the process of city management.

The Mayor of the City of Jelenia Gora, Mr Jerzy Łuzniak, countersigned by the Treasurer, Mr Jacek Kopeć, and Mr Grzegorz Puda, Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, signed an agreement for the implementation of the project "Live, reside, work in Jelenia Gora!", as a result of which the City of Jelenia Gora will receive more than PLN 15 million for the implementation of the project.

The list of Partners for the joint preparation and implementation of the project entitled "Live, reside, work in Jelenia Góra"!
To jointly prepare and implement the project in partnership were selected:
- Karkonoski Sejmik Osób Niepełnosprawnych;
- Karkonoska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A.;
- Karkonoski Park Narodowy.
In the coming days, letters of intent will be signed with the Partners. All Partners expressed their intention to conclude a national partnership agreement on the joint implementation of the project entitled "Live, reside, work in Jelenia Góra" if funding is obtained.
At the same time, all Members of the Integrated Territorial Investments of Jelenia Góra Agglomeration signed a letter of intent to initiate cooperation in the joint development of a "Climate Change Adaptation Plan for Jelenia Góra Agglomeration" within the framework of the project "Live, reside, work in Jelenia Góra", provided that the funds necessary for its implementation are obtained.

Municipal Culture CentreMuflon Jelenia Góra – the first meeting of advisors of the Association of Polish Cities with the Team of Social Leaders. The meeting took the form of a group interview.
In the meeting:
- the diagnosis of the city's developmental problems was presented
- the main potentials and specific development problems of the city have been identified,
- discussions were held about the changes that have occurred in Jelenia Góra over the past years and the changes that need to be introduced in the near future,
- the challenges that residents face in terms of cooperation in the city, partnership and implementation of public tasks were discussed,
- many ideas, opinions, and comments were generated.
The members of the Team of Social Leaders were selected as a result of a multi-stage process of mapping the city's stakeholders, which was carried out by teams appointed by the Mayor of Jelenia Gora together with advisors from the Association of Polish Cities.

The development of a hierarchy of stakeholders due to their strength of influence on the development opportunities of the city of Jelenia Góra and the degree of their involvement. During the meeting, an initial list was created of highly influential and involved stakeholders in the city's affairs who should be included in the preparation and implementation of development programs.

Discussing the principles of Stage I of the work, i.e.,concerning the organisation of work in the city and cooperation with advisors. Employees of the European Funds Department also received guidelines on how to use the Local Development Monitor - a tool that allows a synthetic assessment of the socio-economic potential of the commune over time and in relation to, among other things, other cities with poviat rights. This tool will be used during work under Stage II – Diagnosis.
