Join us on Saturday, July 15th, for a botanical field trip organised by the Karkonosze National Park.

Meadows are a permanent part of the landscape of the Karkonosze Mountains and Jelenia Góra Valley and are a reminder of the shepherd economy practised in the past. They are a refuge for many plant species and contribute to the preservation of the biodiversity of our surroundings.

Marek Malicki, PhD, a botanist and researcher at the Department of Botany of the University of Wroclaw, will show and tell us a lot of intriguing information about the plants found in local ecosystems and explain how to recognise them. We invite you to a tour of the alpine meadows in the vicinity of Jagniątków on Saturday, July 15 - we start at 10.15 AM at the terminus of bus No. 15 in Jelenia Góra - Jagniątków (stop "Dom Hauptmanna").

We will be walking in the meadows - appropriate clothing and supplying insect and tick bite protection is advisable. The tour is entirely free of charge.
